PRINTING MANAGEMENT SERVICES

US Army Print and Media Distribution Center
The US Army Print and Media Distribution Center (APMDC) is now the Department of the Army’s primary provider and distributor of “authenticated” publications, print services for Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) principles officials, Direct Reporting Units to HQDA, Field Operating Agencies of HQDA, and all Army organizations within the Washington DC area per DODI 5330.03 and AR 25-38. Media Distribution Division
APMDC manages, stores, and distributes published information products in various media to the US Army, National Guard (Air and Army), Department of the Navy, Department of the Air Force, the Department of Defense (DOD), Foreign Military Sales, and contractors worldwide. Products provided are Army departmental publications, forms, technical and field manuals, training publications/products, other Army printed products, and printed products from other services/DOD. Personnel ensure stock levels are adequate to support mission requirements. MDD is responsible for the life cycle management of published multi-media products.

Printing Management Division
APMDC’s Printing Management Division (PMD) provides trained and experienced Print Specialists to assist the Army in all print requirements. PMD exists to provide the Army printed material for the lowest cost. Our comprehensive approach on products, offer Army customers printing of all types, and ensures excellent customer service. Unlike DOD, PMD does NOT have a surcharge/fee for services.

Through the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army, PMD funds print procurement for all HQDA Army Principal Officials and HQDA field operating agencies. PMD can procure most print requests at no cost to the organization.

All printing requests must be accompanied with a DA Form 260, DA Form 260-1, or DD Form 282. Please click Help on how to fill out DD Form 282. In accordance with AR 25–38, all Department of the Army printing and local Army command printing in the Washington, DC metropolitan area must be sent to the Printing Management Division (PMD).

The Printing Management Division (PMD) will accept and process print funding in accordance to your agency and federal government policies on the following forms and print procurement vehicles. All Army print funds must come directly to PMD to eliminate delays in processing.

GPO FS Form 7600 Information:
The Printing Management Division (PMD) accepts and processes FS Form 7600s (United States Government General Terms & Conditions (GT&C) through the Government Printing Office (GPO). FS Form 7600s are to be sent directly to PMD, through the following email address. FS Form 7600s cannot be sent directly from the customer to GPO. The FS Form 7600 will be received by PMD and then PMD will send the FS Form 7600 to GPO. GPO will then provide PMD with the signed and accepted FS Form 7600A and/or FS Form 7600B. PMD will in turn provide the signed FS Form 7600A and/or FS Form 7600B, to the customer.

GPO MIPR Information:
The Printing Management Division (PMD) will be processing DD Form 448 (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR)) through the Government Printing Office (GPO). MIPRs for print requests are to be sent directly to PMD, through the following email address. MIPRs cannot be sent directly from the customer to GPO. Remove The MIPR(s) will be received by PMD and then PMD will send the MIPR to GPO. GPO will then provide PMD with the signed DD Form 448-2. PMD will in turn provide the signed DD Form 448-2 to the customer. When submitting the MIPR to PMD, please add the below address in the TO block (Block 7).

UNICOR FS Form 7600 Information:

DD FORM 2542
DD Form 2542 (Certificate of Appreciation for Service in the Armed Forces of the United States) is a controlled form. The Army is the office of primary responsibility for DD Form 2542.

The Department of Air Force obtains DD Form 2542 through the Air Force e-Publishing Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The Headquarters Department of the Navy and the Headquarters United States Coast Guard order directly through the Printing Management Division (PMD), US Army Print and Media Distribution Center. The Headquarters for both the Navy and the Coast Guard will provide distribution.

Army customers contact your organization's Forms Management Officer (FMO) to obtain the DD Form 2542. Your organization FMO can establish an Ordering Portal account through Media Distribution Division, US Army Print and Media Distribution Center. If your organization doesn't have an Ordering Portal accounting, please contact MDD directly to open an Ordering Portal account either via: email address or via phone: 314-592-0910/DSN 693-9606.

Another option to obtain the DD Form 2542 is to contact PMD directly, through the following email address. When reaching out to PMD, please provide a DD Form 282 with the below fields completed.
