STRATEGIC PLAN

APD’s mission:

The Army Publishing Directorate (APD) is the Army’s centralized departmental publishing organization in support of readiness. APD authenticates, publishes, and provides the official Army index of all departmental publications and forms.

APD’s goals:

Organizational goals include publication reform and increasing Department of the Army administrative publication readiness. Readiness involves—

✦ Implementing the new format for Army regulations and DA pamphlets.
✦ Reducing the number of administrative publications more than 5 years old.
✦ Incorporating ADs into the appropriate AR revisions.
✦ Resourcing and improving ePUBS.
✦ Enhancing the APD website.
✦ Validating the index for Army publications and forms.
